It’s Agitator Day
On today’s episode, we’re chopping it up bout the legacy of Osamu Tezuka—in real time, as we learn about the godfather ourselves—plus: giving the OGs their flowers, being honest bout who can be considered a GOAT, continued development of inspiration yielding better shit than what came before. Also: Barbie, skateboarding, Jackie Chan, what were the best years for film/music/books, and more.

August 8th—drop day for my collection God Is Wearing Black—is less than a week away. I’m extremely proud of this joint. I’ll only be ordering for the pre-orders straight out the gate and then in October, I’ll be taking another stack up to West Virginia for Voidcon, so the window for snatching up a signed copy will be closing soon. Cop one of those here. Read the intro story here.
Freelance openings
I’ve got some openings for voice work in August. If you’re in need of promotional VO for your podcast or ad campaign, a narrator for your audiobook or YouTube channel, character voices for your video game or film—let’s talk.
Good shit
Watched the first episode of This Fool and laughed a lot. It’s over the top without being obnoxious, and sometimes shifts into a more grounded tone whenever it wants. There’s a drive-by in which the uncle firing from the backseat of an SUV recognizes his nephew hiding from crossfire behind a parked car and the uncle pauses shooting up the spot to call his nephew gay for rollerblading. And the character dynamics—especially within la familia—feel true as hell. Good shit.
The latest
finds Glen and Psi interviewing professional remote viewer and psychic Debra Lynne Katz. They ask all the questions you’re asking yourself after reading that. It’s good shit.Reading K.W. Jeter’s Blade Runner 2 for Ghost In the Tome, the book club exclusive to Agitator patrons. You can borrow it off Internet Archive with a free account.
Website
Remodeled a bit of my website, the closest thing I have on the internet to a live and unexhaustive portfolio, always attempting to make it sleek and easy to navigate as possible. Check it out here.
